Joe Staluppi is the Advertising Design Curriculum Co-Chair at FIT where he has updated the curriculum so that it prepares the students for creative excellence in the digital age. The students in the Advertising & Digital Design program students learn to succeed in the new creative partnership, in which art director, copywriter, and experience designer work together to communicate messages that make people react, respond, join in and do something.
As a result of the new curriculum, the FIT Advertising & Design Program was ranked #3 in the world by the One Club of Creativity for Young Ones One Show awards in 2022.
Before teaching at FIT, Joe had done many brand-building campaigns for clients such as Crest, Norelco, Pampers, Black & Decker, Mass Mutual, New Jersey Tourism, and New Jersey Lottery while working at Y&R, DMB&B, Bozell, McCann, and Brushfire.  Those campaigns won over 50 creative awards including The One Show, The Clio, The ANDY, The ADDY, The International Advertising Festival of NY Gold Medal, Communication Arts Advertising Annual, and Adweek’s Best Spots.
